Apple’s iPhone 17 Pro Might Debut in MacBook Air-Inspired Sky Blue

Apple may be gearing up to release the iPhone 17 Pro in a fresh new color and if you’re into stylish tech, this one might catch your eye. According to popular leaker Majin Bu, the upcoming iPhone 17 Pro could feature a Sky Blue finish, similar to the color Apple used on the latest M4 MacBook Air released in March.
Sky Blue Could Be the Star of the iPhone 17 Pro Lineup
Majin Bu shared on his website that “sources close to the supply chain” have confirmed Apple is testing several color options for the iPhone 17 Pro. Out of the prototypes, Sky Blue is currently the most likely to make the cut. Bu described the new shade as looking “even more stunning than the much-loved Sierra Blue” that was featured on the iPhone 13 Pro. He also mentioned that it brings a level of brightness and elegance that could make it a fan favorite.
If you’re familiar with the Sky Blue MacBook Air, you’ll know it’s not a bold or overly saturated color. Apple designed it with a soft, metallic light blue tone that shifts slightly depending on how light hits it. It’s subtle but sophisticated—perfect for a premium device.
Apple Sticking to Its Titanium Trend
For the last couple of years, Apple has been sticking with a more muted color palette for its Pro models, especially after switching to titanium materials. The iPhone 16 Pro, for example, is available in Desert Titanium, Natural Titanium, White Titanium, and Black Titanium.
The new Desert Titanium color, by the way, was also leaked early by Majin Bu—about seven months before the iPhone 16 Pro launched. That gives a little extra credibility to his latest Sky Blue claim, even if not all his predictions in the past have been spot on. (He did miss the mark with a rumor about an iPad 11 launching in 2023.)

A Fresh Look Without Being Too Flashy
If the Sky Blue color does come to the iPhone 17 Pro, it would mark a refreshing update to Apple’s Pro lineup without straying too far from the brand’s usual minimalist aesthetic. It’s stylish, modern, and unique enough to stand out, but still classy enough to match Apple’s sleek titanium builds.
Would You Buy an iPhone 17 Pro in Sky Blue?
While this is the first solid rumor we’ve seen about the iPhone 17’s color options, it’s already generating excitement. If Apple pulls it off, the Sky Blue iPhone 17 Pro could be one of the most eye-catching models in years.
