Apple Spring 2025: AirTag Refresh, iPad 11, M4 MacBook Air, iPhone SE 4, and More Rumored Releases

Apple Spring 2025 looks very Busy, with whispers pointing to cool updates and fresh products. We might get to see a new version of AirTags, a Home Hub with AI smarts, the much-awaited M4 MacBook Air, the next iPhone SE 4, and the iPad 11—maybe with a few extras thrown in.
Apple has updated most of its products since early 2024, but a few are still waiting. The M4 chip could finish the upgrade for Macs that don’t have it yet, and we might even see some new types of products hitting the market.
MacBook Air with M4
The buzz around the MacBook Air getting an M4 update in 2025 is heating up, and there’s talk that it might come with a cool new feature—Center Stage, thanks to an ultra-wide camera.

Rumors like this usually pop up from leaked info, analyst predictions, or accidental reveals in software updates. This time, the macOS 15.2 update seems to have spilled the beans. Some hidden text in the update mentions 13-inch and 15-inch MacBook Air models, both expected to run on the M4 chip.
But there’s more. Some regulatory documents hint at a “Front Ultra Wide Camera,” which sounds like an upgrade from the 1080p FaceTime camera in the current M3 models. If that’s true, it could mean the MacBook Air might finally get features like Center Stage and Desk View.
Center Stage is a handy feature that keeps you in the frame during video calls, even if you move around. Until now, MacBook Air users could only get it by pairing their Mac with an iPhone or using certain MacBook Pro models. Having this built-in on the Air would make it way more convenient.
Desk View is another cool feature that might make its way to the Air. It uses the wide-angle lens to show the area in front of your computer, perfect for sharing notes or showing off something during a call.
It all makes sense—Apple often tries out fancy new features on its Pro models first, then gradually brings them to the rest of the lineup. If the rumors are right, we could see these updates in spring 2025 as part of Apple’s push to upgrade all its Macs with M4 chips.
New iPad11
Just like the MacBook Air, the iPad is Apple’s go-to option for a budget-friendly and super popular device. The upcoming iPad 11 probably won’t shake things up too much, but it’s expected to get a faster processor—and maybe even some AI-powered features.

There’s not a lot of solid info about the iPad 11 just yet, but one thing seems certain: it’ll come with a better chip. The question is, which one? The current iPad 10 has the A14 chip from back in 2022, so Apple could make a jump to the A16. But here’s the twist—Apple Intelligence requires at least the A17 Pro chip, and it’s unlikely Apple would include a pro-level processor in their most affordable iPad.
If Apple really wants to bring AI features to every new device, the A18 chip seems like the best bet. It’s already in the iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Plus, and upgrading to the A18 would be a huge leap from the A14.
Another change everyone’s expecting? Updated Apple Pencil support. The iPad 11 will likely work with the Apple Pencil that has USB-C and maybe even the Apple Pencil Pro. That would mark the end of support for the older Apple Pencils.
If Apple goes with the A18 chip and keeps the entry price at $349, the iPad 11 would be the most affordable device with AI capabilities. And honestly, that doesn’t seem far-fetched, especially considering what’s rumored for Apple’s budget-friendly iPhone lineup
Much awaited iPhone SE 4 (2025)
There’s been a ton of chatter about the iPhone SE 4, mostly because of Apple’s experiments with its in-house modem. While that’s still a possibility, most people are likely more interested in the phone’s design and what chip it’ll have under the hood.

If the rumors are true, the iPhone SE 4 could finally say goodbye to the Home Button and adopt the sleek iPhone 14 design. This would be a big upgrade for the SE line, bringing features like an OLED display, a 12MP camera, and a notch with Face ID. There’s even some talk about the Action button making an appearance, though that seems like a long shot.
Like the iPad 11, the iPhone SE 4 will probably need a chip that supports Apple Intelligence. That makes the A18 chip the most likely choice. Even though it’s Apple’s latest processor, it would give the iPhone SE 4 a solid future-proof boost. And the best part? Apple is expected to stick to the $429 price tag.
There’s also a chance we’ll see an update to the Apple Watch SE alongside the new iPhone SE. The current Watch SE, released in 2022, uses the same S8 chip as the Series 8, so it might still have some life left in it. But if an update does happen, it’ll be interesting to see what Apple adds to its budget-friendly smartwatch.
New AirTag with updated UWB
We might be seeing a new AirTag soon, and it could come with better Ultra Wideband (UWB) features thanks to an upgraded chipset—though no, it’s definitely not called “U2.” While some early rumors hinted that the updated AirTag might work with Apple Vision Pro, that now seems like a long shot for its first set of features.

Word is the new AirTag will stick to the same design but get a boost in tracking performance. With a better UWB chip, you can expect a longer range and more precise location tracking.
The original AirTag debuted in 2021 and stirred up quite a bit of controversy, with concerns about privacy and stalking. Despite that, it’s become a hit, so an updated version feels like a natural step.
Apple’s Find My network now works with third-party trackers, so it seems unlikely we’ll see a completely different form factor for the AirTag. The coin-shaped design works well and is meant to pair with accessories like keychains or bag tags.
The pricing will probably stay the same: $29 for a single AirTag or $100 for a four-pack. And don’t forget, you can still personalize them with engraved initials or emojis.
